Dear Sharpsburg families:

Fall is in the air and Sharpsburg Elementary is busy at work. Most recently, The Ohio Department of Educatioon released local report cards. Sharpsburg Elementary earned 4 out of 5 stars!! Part of our success is due to our incredible families who support our work every day.

Our PTO will hold regular meetings at 3:30 in the Primary Cafeteria on the third Tuesday of each month. There is still time to be involved!

Remember our slogan, “We Belong at Sharpsburg!!” Join us each Wednesday wearing our We Belong gear. As always, if you have any questions, please contact our incredible staff to assist in any way we can.

Avenues for Success® is an educational program that provides extended learning opportunities, both before and after school, for students of all ages in the Norwood City School District.  The non-traditional social, academic, and recreational clubs offered through this program help enrich the community, promote life-long learning, and foster students capable of thriving in the "real" world.  

SPIRIT/HOMECOMING WEEK SEPTEMBER 18-22

The annual Tax-Free Holiday is always the first weekend in August. During the holiday, the following items are exempt from sales and use tax:

-An item of clothing priced at $75 or less;

-An item of school supplies priced at $20 or less; and

-An item of school instructional material priced at $20 or less.
