We are honored to nominate Spirit Owens, a 5th grade student from Sharpsburg for the Creative Arts Rising Star this month.  She is a wonderful musician and is very fluent in reading treble clef notes and has increased her minute test amount each class this year.

Kalina Gallardo is such an amazing third grader! She comes to school ready to learn each day, with a big smile on her face. Kalina is such a happy person and it is contagious to all of us.

Jose’s leadership shines through his actions and his words. He encourages his classmates daily, celebrates their achievements, and recognizes their growth. He is selfless, respectful, and polite to both his peers and teachers. He always takes the time to say “thank you,” and he approaches each day with a positive attitude and a readiness to learn.

Elliott is a wonderful example of a PAX leader in our kindergarten family. He is kind, caring, and always ready to be a helpful friend.

Iris Pointer is our Sharpsburg Rising Star for October, and we couldn’t be more proud of her.

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Eleni Towner to the Norwood Board of Education, filling a vacancy created earlier this year.
